The New Concept In Creativity

PUBLISHING WITH NAKMAS - A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

NAKMAS is an independent publisher with offices in Kent and Buckinghamshire. Although relatively new to the publishing world and originally set up specifically for martial arts publications, NAKMAS publishing is now considering material submitted from the academic world and other areas of general interest.

SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL

We are always happy to receive book proposals to review, and can assure you of a thorough and rapid response.
In order for NAKMAS Publishing to consider publishing your work, a proposal will include the following elements:

1. A brief synopsis of the project, generally no more than one page, highlighting its subject matter, scope, approach and purpose and giving your views as to why you believe it may be commercially viable.
2. An annotated table of the contents to include how the book will be structured, outlining each chapter in terms of subject matter, number of words and number of illustrations.
3. A sample chapter of text
4. Copies of printouts of sample images from the book, if available
5. A brief, no longer than half page of the author or authors and highlight why they are qualified to write about the subject of the book and provide details of any previously published work.

Any work submitted must be original and not in the public domain.

Please send your proposal, preferably via e-mail to Joe Ellis via joe.ellis@nakmaspublishing.com. Please note that if sending material to our office in Kent you need to enclose a stamped address envelope to the correct Royal Mail postage weight if you wish NAKMAS Publishing to return your proposal.

NAKMAS Publishing looks forward to hearing from you and hope we may have the opportunity to work with you in the future.
